Curating a cohesive digital experience
Nestled in the heart of Malibu Wine Country, Calamigos Guest Ranch and Beach Club offers a luxury experience that feels both effortlessly relaxed and impeccably curated. Our task was to bring that same feeling to life online.
We led a complete rebuild of their digital presence, from art direction and visual design to a fully reimagined UX/UI and integrated booking engine. The new platform prioritises elegance and ease, with refined typography, intuitive navigation, and custom design elements that echo the brand’s serene sophistication and history in the area. Beyond aesthetics, we also focused on performance, improving conversion rates through smarter user journeys and providing the internal team with deeper analytics and actionable guest data to support long-term growth.
Defining the look and feel
We incorporated subtle references to the local Chumash culture through the use of ochre tones, hand-drawn elements, icons, and patterns inspired by cave paintings. These details add a playful touch to an otherwise clean and minimal design.
