A fun, new brand identity for a restaurant collective.
The Classroom N7 is a Japanese & Filipino restaurant collective, also offering culinary classes (hence the name). Consisting of four companies under one roof, I was tasked with developing a new brand identity to showcase the combined personalities.
The challenge was to create a look and feel that complemented all four brands whilst elevating them.
I anchored the concept around the young, fun nature of the collective — using friendly typography and iconography — whilst also evoking an established aesthetic through the choice of core brand colours and the badge logo.
Iconography
I created simple line icons to use in a variety of applications, such as on the menu and shopfront, with the concept centred around characters using Kawaii-inspired expressions.
